1. Machine Wash Cold
- Use a gentle cycle with cold water to protect the fibers and retain the softness of the fabric. Avoid hot water as it can shrink the fabric or reduce its lifespan.
2. Pop into a laundry bag
- Due to it's delicate nature, it is best to pop the apparel into a laundry bag when machine washing.
- Opt for a mild, eco-friendly detergent that is free of bleach and harsh chemicals to protect your baby’s sensitive skin and the natural fibers of the fabric.
- TENCEL™ Lyocell is naturally soft, so there’s no need for fabric softeners. In fact, they may coat the fibers and reduce breathability.
- To preserve the integrity of the fabric, air dry your baby’s clothes flat or hang them to dry. Avoid using a dryer, as high heat can damage the fibers and cause shrinkage.
- If needed, you can lightly iron the garment inside out on a low heat setting. TENCEL™ Lyocell is naturally wrinkle-resistant, so ironing is rarely necessary.
- Store the clothes in a cool, dry place, folded neatly. Avoid hanging for long periods, as it may stretch the fabric over time.
With the right care, our TENCEL™ Lyocell baby apparel will maintain its softness, breathability, and durability—keeping your little one comfortable while staying gentle on the environment.
